Of course, everyone knows that there is nothing better for a morning meal than a Meal (classic of the genre - oatmeal :) But on this or many other reasons do not eat porridge: someone loves someone too lazy to cook it, and it is not especially inspiring "just a mess." And someone (eg me) is that the cereal - it is probably very boring when there are lots of other interesting and no less useful breakfast ideas. But here's the oatmeal with apples from the oven became for me a real discovery!
It would seem that the simplest ingredients - "old school" oat groats, Apples, berries and cinnamon all - and the result is a real "casserole"! Krupa well in steams oven, absorbing all the liquid (including the juice from apples and berries), and it turns incredibly spicy and fragrant! And when baked oatmeal with apples cool down, then "grasped" and becoming like a real cake!
I like this recipe and the fact that you can cook breakfast the next evening (before bedtime), and in the morning you will need only a couple of minutes to warm up a slice in the microwave. Personally, I like practicing often - handy!
And oatmeal with apples from the oven, unlike many pies and sharlotok, good in all versions: as the added sugar (or maple syrup) Or without them!
Berries can use any: and dried (cranberries, cherries, raisins), and frozen, as you wish.
Oatmeal with apples from the oven: a recipe
Ingredients (for 3-4 servings):
- oatmeal - 100 g;
- Apples - 1 large;
- milk* или вода ~ 300 мл;
- walnuts - 1-2 handfuls;
- berries - 1-2 handfuls;
- 2 eggs;
- spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) - to taste;
- vanilla - to taste;
- sugar / stevia / syrups - to taste;
- Salt - a pinch.
*You can use cow or almond, coconut, soybean.
Oatmeal wash and soak in cold water for 2-3 hours (can be longer).
If using dried berries, they can also add water minute 20-30, if possible.
Apples cut into cubes or slices.
Eggs, milk, sugar / syrup whip slightly.
The shape shift oatmeal (pre-water drain!), The apples on top - berries and nuts, sprinkle with spices. Upon request, a little stir and pour the milk mixture.
Send in a preheated oven at 45-60 minutes (180 deg.). Somewhere on 30-minutes, I opened the oven and a little spatula, mix the contents (not necessarily, but oatmeal will bake better and more evenly distributed).
